STOMP
STOMP is explosive, provocative, sophisticated, sexy, utterly unique and appeals to audiences of all ages. The eight-member troupe uses everything but conventional percussion instruments – matchboxes, wooden poles, brooms, garbage cans, Zippo lighters, hubcaps – to fill the stage with magnificent rhythms. PlayhouseSquare Dance Showcase
The PlayhouseSquare Arts Education Department will present its sixth annual Dance Showcase on Friday, September 12 at 7 p.m. in the Ohio Theatre. Featuring six of Northeast Ohio’s finest professional dance companies, the performance highlights a wide array of dance styles from African to contemporary to ballet. Admission is free.
