Enjoy the English tradition of afternoon tea with a whimsical twist courtesy of the world’s most beloved nanny. The Mary Poppins Teas will be held at 10:30 a.m. prior to the weekend matinee performances on July 25, 26, August 1, 2, 8 and 9 in The Ritz Carlton Cleveland Lobby Lounge on the 6th floor. Selections such as the “Chim Chim Cher-ee” Chocolate Financier, “Magic Umbrella” Sugar Cookies, “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious” Scones with Devonshire Cream and – of course, “A Spoon Full of Sugar” Treat have been created by the pastry team at The Ritz-Carlton, Cleveland. The children-friendly finger sandwiches include Peanut Butter and Grape Jelly, American Cheese and Ham on Whole Wheat.  All others may enjoy finger sandwich plates of Smoked Salmon, Herbed Cream and Chives, Sliced Egg and Parsley, and more.
