December 28, 2012Broadway Dims Its Lights in Tribute
Broadway theaters will honor two acclaimed actors by dimming their lights in honor of Charles Durning and Jack Klugman who both passed away December 24. Theater marquees will go dark for one minute at 8 PM on December 27 in honor of Durning and again on December 28 at 8 PM in memory of Klugman. (broadway.com) Read more.
Katie Holmes’ Broadway Show Sets Early Closing Date
DEAD ACCOUNTS, a new Broadway comedy starring Katie Holmes and Norbert Leo Butz, will play its final performance on January 6 at the Music Box Theatre. The limited engagement had originally been scheduled to run through February 24. (broadway.com) Read more.
Will Denzel Washington Return to Broadway?
Denzel Washington, who won a Tony Award for his performance in August Wilson's FENCES, may be heading back to Broadway.
