Air dates have been announced for six upcoming LIVE FROM LINCOLN CENTER broadcasts. A concert from Lincoln Center’s American Songbook series, RING THEM BELLS! kicks off the series and will air February 15 at 9:00 p.m. The next broadcast features Emmy and Tony Award winner Kristin Chenoweth in KRISTIN CHENOWETH: THE DAMES OF BROADWAY…ALL OF ‘EM!!! Anne Hathaway May Lead a New TAMING OF THE SHREW Movie
Golden Globe-winning LES MISERABLES actress, Anne Hathaway (pictured above), may star in an upcoming film adaptation of Shakespeare’s THE TAMING OF THE SHREW, reports The Wrap. Hathaway would play Kate, “the play’s titular “shrew,” a strong-willed albeit nagging woman whose suitor puts her through a psychological ringer in order to make her more obedient.” The film adaptation is reported to be a “modern-day retelling set in mid-20th century Italy.” (broadway.com) Read more.
Jason Alexander and Tovah Feldshuh Will Head Cast of TWO BY TWO
The York Theatre Companyhas announced that Tony winner Jason Alexander and four-time Tony nominee Tovah Feldshuh will star in the Winter 2013 Musicals in Mufti Series, TWO BY TWO. the limited engagement will play five performances February 15-17 at The York Theatre Company at Saint Peter’s.
