Kirstie Alley’s Broadway-Themed Comedy Gets Series Order at TV Land

TV Land has granted a series order Kirstie Alley’s (pictured above) new comedy pilot about a high-maintenance Broadway star. The series follows Madison “Maddie” Banks, “a Broadway diva whose life is flipped upside down when the grown son she gave up for adoption tries to enter her life after the death of his adoptive mother.” (broadway.com) Read more.

ANN Begins Broadway Performances

One-woman bio play ANN began performances at Lincoln Center’s Vivian Beaumont Theater yesterday (February 18). The play stars Emmy Award-winner Holland Taylor as Ann Richards, the famed and charismatic former governor of Texas, and will the officially open March 7. (broadway.com) Read more.

Cast Announced for the Off-Broadway Return of PETER AND THE STARCATCHER

The cast has been announced for the return of PETER AND THE STARCATCHER off-Broadway this spring. Ensemble members from the show's recently finished Main Stem run will lead the production: Rick Holmes as Black Stache, and Jason Ralph as Boy. Nicole Lawrence will play Molly. (broadway.com) Read more.
