Elizabeth Olsen to Star in Classic Stage Company's ROMEO & JULIET

Elizabeth Olsen, Mary-Kate and Ashley's baby sister, will star as Juliet Capulet in Classic Stage Company's upcoming production of William Shakespeare's ROMEO & JULIET. Directed by Greg Reiner, the production will kick off CSC's 2013-14 season next fall. Additional casting will be announced at a later date. (broadway.com) Read more.

Emma Stone and Zach Galifianakis to Star in Broadway-Themed Comedy BIRDMAN

Emma Stone (pictured above), Naomi Watts, Zach Galifianakis and Michael Keaton have signed on to appear in Alejandro Gonzalez Innaritu's new dark comedy BIRDMAN. The film revolves around the staging of a new Broadway play follows a washed up movie star (Keaton) who decides to stage a Broadway play. Stone will play his daughter, who recently left rehab to become his assistant. Watts will take on the role of the fictional production's leading lady, while Galifianakis will play its ruthless producer. Shooting for the film is expected to begin in April. Robert Sean Leonard to Star in TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD

Robert Sean Leonard will return to London to star as Atticus Finch in a new stage production of TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD, adapted from the Harper Lee novel. Performances begin at the Open Air Theatre, Regent's Park May 16 with the official opening May 22 and will run through June 15. (playbill.com) Read more.
