Endowment - Planned Giving

Imagine downtown Cleveland without PlayhouseSquare. This startling vision almost became a reality in 1971, before a dedicated group of volunteers rescued our historic theaters from plans to turn them into a parking lot.

Endowment

Building on the foresight of these volunteers, PlayhouseSquare has become the largest performing arts center outside of New York. Our annual impact on the regional economy is $43 million (2003 CSU Urban Land Institute Study). We offer community engagement and education programs for people of all ages. We have invested in our neighborhood, creating a vibrant destination for visitors, residents and businesses.

When you contribute to PlayhouseSquare’s endowment fund or make a planned gift from your estate, you ensure the preservation of this cultural asset for generations to come.

Individuals and families that have declared their intention to include PlayhouseSquare in their estate plans, whether by will, trust or life income arrangement, are recognized through The Muse Society. No minimum is required to participate. Requests for anonymity are respected.

How to Donate
