Sister Act

SISTER ACT is Broadway's feel-amazing musical comedy smash! The New York Post calls it "RIDICULOUSLY FUN,” and audiences are jumping to their feet in total agreement! Featuring original music by 8-time Oscar® winner ALAN MENKEN (Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, Little Shop of Horrors), SISTER ACT tells the story of Deloris Van Cartier, a wannabe diva whose life takes a surprising turn when she witnesses a crime and the cops hide her in the last place anyone would think to look—a convent! Under the suspicious watch of Mother Superior, Deloris helps her fellow sisters find their voices as she unexpectedly rediscovers her own. A sparkling tribute to the universal power of friendship, SISTER ACT is reason to REJOICE!

Children Policy:
Children under two years old are generally not permitted in the theaters. At designated performances Children of all ages are permitted. However, everyone regardless of age must have a ticket. All children must be seated with an adult. Any person disrupting a performance or inhibiting the enjoyment of an event for guests may be removed from the theater without refund.

PlayhouseSquare is located in Cleveland's theater district located on Euclid Avenue, between East 14th and East 17th Streets. Where do we park?

The PlayhouseSquare Garage is located at East 15th and Chester with elevators located on each level and a walkway to the complex. PlayhouseSquare has kept event night parking affordable for our customers. Parking can be purchased for the on-site PlayhouseSquare garage for just $12.00 ($10.00 advance purchase). Do you need to purchase tickets by phone or in-person?

The Ticket Office is located in the State Theatre lobby and is open Monday-Sunday from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Hours vary when we have an evening performance and will also vary during the summer months. To confirm operating hours call the Ticket Office information line at 216-771-8403. Tickets may also be purchased by phone Monday - Sunday from 7 a.m. - 9 p.m. at 216-241-6000 or 866-546-1353.
