William H. Dietz - Town Hall Speaker Series

Expert on fitness, nutrition and obesity

William H. Dietz, M.D., Ph.D. is the former Director of the Division of Nutrition, Physical Activity, and Obesity at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. He was formerly a Professor of Pediatrics at the Tuft's University School of Medicine, and Director of Clinical Nutrition at the Floating Hospital of New England Medical Center Hospitals. Dietz is also a recipient of the Holroyd-Sherry award from the American Academy of Pediatrics for his contributions to the field of children and the media. He received the 2006 Nutrition Research award from the American Academy of Pediatrics for outstanding research in pediatric nutrition.

Where do we park?

The PlayhouseSquare Garage is located at East 15th and Chester with elevators located on each level and a walkway to the complex. PlayhouseSquare has kept event night parking affordable for our customers. Parking can be purchased for the on-site PlayhouseSquare garage for just $12.00 ($10.00 advance purchase). Do you need to purchase tickets by phone or in-person?

The Ticket Office is located in the State Theatre lobby and is open Monday-Sunday from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Hours vary when we have an evening performance and will also vary during the summer months. To confirm operating hours call the Ticket Office information line at 216-771-8403. Tickets may also be purchased by phone Monday - Sunday from 7 a.m. - 9 p.m. at 216-241-6000 or 866-546-1353.
