Cleveland Comedy Festival: Roast of Cleveland

There’s a rule in Cleveland – if one of us, you’re allowed to joke about Cleveland. On Saturday, November 17, some of Cleveland’s best comedians will take their best shots at each other and at the city we love. Hosted by The Plain Dealer columnist and WCPN 90.3 FM Sound of Ideas host Mike McIntyre, the Roast of Cleveland will feature funny people such as Mike Polk Jr., Ryan Dalton, Jeff Blanchard, Joe Howard, and Plain Dealer “Minister of Culture” Michael Heaton. Some additional special guests may pop in as well. This will be a raucous, sarcastic love letter to Cleveland and a show you definitely don’t want to miss.

What is the Cleveland Comedy Festival?

Over 60 comedians and groups from all over the Midwest, including national headliners, will perform stand-up, sketch, improv comedy shows, compete in stand-up comedy contests, teach workshops, hold creative conversations and lead a Class Clown Showcase for hilarious kids. All of this at PlayhouseSquare's Kennedy's Cabaret, and East 14th Street Theatre. It's a week of laughter you won't want to miss. After all, it's Cleveland. How could it not be funny?
