Esperanza Spalding
Last year, Grammy Award winner for Best New Artist, Esperanza Spalding, became the first jazz artist to win that category in the Grammy’s 53-year history. A child prodigy, Spalding, had already taught herself the violin by age five and was playing with the Chamber Music Society of Oregon. She went on to become one of the youngest instructors in the history of Berklee College of Music, prior to her successful solo career as a singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist.
Children Policy:
Children under two years old are generally not permitted in the theaters. At designated performances Children of all ages are permitted. However, everyone regardless of age must have a ticket. All children must be seated with an adult. Any person disrupting a performance or inhibiting the enjoyment of an event for guests may be removed from the theater without refund.
