Meat Loaf

Legendary rocker Meat Loaf will celebrate the 35th Anniversary of Bat Out of Hell at the State Theatre on October 24 at 7:30pm. Bat Out of Hell has sold more than 43 million copies. After more than 30 years, it still sells an estimated 200,000 copies annually and stayed on the charts for over nine years, making it one of the best selling albums of all time.

Just Announced: Sammy Hagar will be joining the celebration of the 35th Anniversary of Bat Out of Hell and will be in Cleveland to perform with Meat Loaf!

A portion of every ticket sold will benefit both The Steve Popovich Legacy Foundation and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame + Museum education activities, which reach audiences from toddlers to senior citizens and give students and teachers alike a deeper understanding of the impact that rock and roll has made on our society. The programs are conducted on-site at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum, as well as in classrooms across the world, via distance learning technology.

“On behalf of the Steve Popovich Legacy Foundation we are delighted to be involved in the upcoming anniversary concert. 35 years ago, my father's label, Cleveland Int'l Records delivered one of the most successful albums in the history of the music business, Bat Out Of Hell which has sold over 45 million units worldwide . Cleveland played a significant role in the initial success of that album and I feel it is only appropriate to bring everything full circle around the album's anniversary (Released October 21, 1977).
