A Conversation with Geoffrey Canada - Presented by PlayhouseSquare Community Engagement and Education

A Conversation with Geoffrey Canada: Improving the Lives of Children, One Poor Child at a Time is being presented by the PNC Grow Up Great program, a partnership with The Cleveland Museum of Art, The Cleveland Orchestra, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum and PlayhouseSquare. Geoffrey Canada has a radical new idea: if you really want to change the lives of inner-city kids, change everything all at once—their schools, families, and neighborhoods.

As President and CEO of the revolutionary Harlem Children’s Zone in New York City, he has dedicated the past 20 years of his life to helping the most impoverished, at-risk youth beat the odds. Radically ambitious and startlingly simple, Canada’s programs are on the cutting edge of preventing youth violence and fostering community development.

This event is FREE, but ticketed. Tickets available online or at the PlayhouseSquare Ticket Office only.

Due to overwhelming demand, A Conversation with Geoffrey Canada has been moved to a larger venue – the Palace Theatre at PlayhouseSquare. If you requested tickets when the event was scheduled for the Ohio Theatre, you DO NOT need to request new tickets. Your original tickets will be honored.
