Discovering the Performing Arts for Middle School Students

Middle school students are introduced to three genres of performing arts - dance, drama and improvisation - through fun and interactive workshops led by professional teaching artists. Students learn speaking and listening skills, character development, critical thinking skills and how the arts are a vehicle for the expression of ideas.

A curriculum-connected Teacher Resource Guide is provided to connect the experience across the curriculum.
