MARAT/SADE - The play within a play is told so that the actual audience is presented with a depiction of another audience watching a play performed within the famous Charenton lunatic asylum. With themes of authority, human nature, and social hierarchy, the production will feature Associate Professor of Theatre Dr. Michael Mauldin in the role of the Marquis de Sade. Directed by Allan Byrne, this drama is a two-act social commentary with musical elements and many exciting surprises!
