Oh, What A Beautiful Mornin': The Impact of Oklahoma!

Oh, What A Beautiful Mornin': The Impact of Oklahoma!

The “beautiful morning” that Oklahoma! promised was nothing less than The American Dream. Now—75 years after its Broadway premiere—the musical reaffirms the strength of our national character. There is no better time to remind us of what Americans have in common, rather than what divides us. Rodgers & Hammerstein’s first musical opened during the dark days of World War II, when the outcome of the war was far from certain. This multi-media concert includes live performances of the musical’s beloved songs, interviews and creator testimony, footage of Agnes de Mille’s dream ballet, and the surprising patriotic back-story of its creation.

Hosted by Bill Rudman and Nancy Maier | Featuring Ursula Cataan, Lindsey Sandham Leonard, Joe Monaghan, Shane Patrick O’Neill and Fabio Polanco.

Please Note:
Children under two years old are generally not permitted in the theaters. However, everyone regardless of age must have a ticket. All children must be seated with an adult. Any person disrupting a performance or inhibiting the enjoyment of an event for guests may be removed from the theater without refund.
