Shaking With Laughter is thrilled to present Dominick Farinacci for what will be our extraordinary farewell show as we hope to surpass the $1 million mark in funds donated to Parkinson’s research.
Dominick, a native Clevelander, has gained a reputation as one of the top trumpet players in the jazz world today. A protégé of Wynton Marsalis, Dominick is admired for his wonderful tone which many find reminiscent of the great Clifford Brown. Dominick will bring a mix of jazz standards, blues, and original compositions to the evening.
He will also bring vocalist Shenel Johns to the show. Shenel’s rich voice perfectly complements Dominick’s playing. And her engaging personality delights her audience on every song.
Comedian Jimmy Dunn opens the show. With appearances on The Late Show with David Letterman and as co-star of the CBS sitcom The McCarthys, Jimmy will have the audience in stitches with his everyman observations.
As always, our performers are donating their time for this event and, thanks to a generous donor at the Michael J. Fox Foundation, 100% of the money raised will go to research.
This show will have you laughing, singing and dancing in your seat, all for a great cause. Don’t miss it.
