  • 8:00 am-4:00 pm (Mon - Fri) Idea Center
  • 10:00 am-6:00 pm (Mon - Fri) Hanna Building

Responsibilities include: 

  1. Embrace Playhouse Square values and programs that further Diversity, Equity and Inclusion within the department.
  2. Continually monitor visitors/guests and tenants entering and leaving Hanna Bldg./Playhouse Square Real Estate Services properties.
  3. Provide information to visitors, such as vendors and visiting companies, and staff as needed.
  4. Monitor and remain current on all aspects of the fire protection and enunciator panels; keep track of all video equipment and monitoring devices at the Security Station.
  5. Be properly trained on all phone equipment, answer building phone, respond to and relay calls.
  6. Monitor two way radio calls and relay as needed.
  7. Maintain a daily log of all reportable, security-related activities.
  8. Direct all deliveries and vendors passing the Security Station.
  9. Keep all necessary departments aware of sick calls as received mornings, evenings, and weekends.  Inform necessary department supervisors or managers of staff call-ins.
  10. Continually be on the lookout for hazardous and unsafe conditions and report them as needed.
  11. Be familiar with all security procedures as they relate to Playhouse Square.
  12. Maintain a professional attitude and demeanor at all times; communicate professionally when dealing with the public and staff.
  13. Assist in the communication between departments when needed.
  14. Maintain contact with Playhouse Square parking garage.
  15. Be properly trained and proficient at all posts throughout Playhouse Square Real Estate Services jurisdiction and be prepared, on any duty day, to assume a change of assignment as directed.

Qualifications

  1. Minimum of 10 years management and technical experience in Ticketing within the sports, live entertainment or performing arts industry.
  2. Experience with integrating multiple systems and partners; working knowledge of AudienceView a plus.
  3. Experience with data base management, structure and reporting.
  4. Bachelor’s degree required.
  5. Outgoing, service-oriented and comfortable working in team environments.           
  6. Flexible, with ability to work in fast paced, changing environment.
  7. Self-motivated with strong organizational and advance planning skills.
  8. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written with ability to present at all levels.
