Marketing Automation Manager

Responsibilities include:

  1. Embrace Playhouse Square values and programs that further Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion within the department.
  2. Drive Playhouse Square’s lead and customer nurturing initiatives. Execute, optimize, and scale marketing campaigns, database hygiene and segmentation to maximize new sales and renewals for existing customers.
  3. Support digital marketing efforts by setting up end-to-end processes that include planning, execution, and deep dive reporting of drip campaigns (including data analytics and metrics) to inform strategic decision-making and campaign investment.
  4. Manage Playhouse Square’s lead management process, including lead management and handoff to Sales.
  5. Own and oversee database management—segmentation, list acquisition/import, data cleansing, web form capture, lead management, etc.
  6. Manage Playhouse Square’s marketing automation, SMS, and App Push Notification platforms.
  7. Oversee process and technical integration of marketing automation, SMS, and App Push Notification platforms with ticketing system and
  8. Translate complex data analytics and metrics into easily understandable strategic insight via regular reports and briefs.



  1. A minimum of 1-3 years of experience optimizing email marketing campaigns for B2C companies. Experience in live entertainment or retail sales a plus.
  2. Strong background with Oracle’s Eloqua or equivalent marketing automation platform.
  3. Strong background with Airship’s SMS Pro or equivalent SMS Service.
  4. Strong background in or equivalent CRM.
  5. Strong background in App Push Notification services.
  6. Excellent problem-solving and project prioritization skills.
  7. Ability to translate complex data analytics and metrics into easily understandable strategic insight.
  8. Strong technical and analytical skills.
  9. HTML and CSS coding experience, preferred.
