Marketing Partnerships Manager

Playhouse Square is looking for an outgoing and motivated individual with excellent communication skills to take on our challenging and exciting position of Marketing Partnerships Manager. 

Responsibilities include:

  1. Embrace Playhouse Square values and programs that further Diversity, Equity and Inclusion within the department.
  2. Manage partnership accounts and ensure that all agreed upon benefits are delivered, evaluated, tracked and reported upon; track partner utilization to provide feedback on how they can take better and full advantage.
  3. Nurture relationships with marketing partners and their teams; exceed expectations, with the ultimate goal being renewal and increased commitments; includes entertaining and hosting.
  4. Create and identify additional opportunities, new sellable inventory and promotional ideas for current and new partners; work with marketing to identify synergies and to deliver benefits via platforms such as the web site, social media and email marketing.
  5. Prospect and identify new potential partnerships; respond and create proposals for inbound inquiries.
  6. Design proposals and proof of benefits fulfillment for presentation to partners.
  7. Manage renewal efforts and planning schedule.
  8. Create and execute retention strategies and VIP expressions of gratitude with annual gift, receptions and consistent communications and in person touchpoints; utilize FORD (Family/Occupation/Recreation/Desire) components as trained.
  9. Monitor quality control of partner representation on all internal/external Playhouse Square materials; manage consistent on and off boarding of benefits delivered by other departments; track and archive all deliverables for end of year partner recaps.
  10. Traffic artwork and create system of consistent deadline reminders for partners; create a partner-easy system for departmental donation requests.
  11. Oversee and execute special partner events and activations.
  12. Track, maintain and report on partnership budget, billing schedule, ticket allotments and other quantifiable benefits.
  13.  Assist with other projects and duties as assigned.


  1. Minimum of 4 years’ experience in marketing, fundraising or sponsor services with direct client contact and/or service.
  2. Outgoing, people-oriented person, with outstanding interpersonal skills.
  3. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  4. Self motivated with strong organizational skills.
  5. Knowledge of current PC hardware and software.
  6. Must be available to work evenings or weekends for entertaining or events.
