A Literature to Life production, based on the memoir by Richard Wright 

Black Boy is a powerful account of of one young man’s journey from innocence to experience as a black youth living in the Jim Crow South. It is both the unashamed confession of a proud non-conformist and a proud indictment – a poignant and disturbing record of social injustice and human suffering.  

Recommended for grades: 7-12

Pricing:
Registrations are $20 per class and may accommodate up to 30 students. If your class is larger, or if you’re registering multiple groups, a price quote may be provided upon request. Adult participation is free, though they must be accounted for in your reservation numbers.
