Broadway in Akron returns this fall, bringing new life to three beloved film favorites and the story of a music icon.
The 2023-2024 season begins with the king of all rom-coms PRETTY WOMAN: THE MUSICAL, followed by Tina Fey's hilarious take on high school drama MEAN GIRLS. The six-decade career of one of music's most iconic figures takes center stage with THE CHER SHOW, and pack your bags for a night at Boddy Manor with CLUE, based on the cult film and classic board game.

Can I buy Group Tickets?
You sure can! Are you looking to bring friends, family, co-workers or employees to a show? Groups of 10 or more can start planning by calling 216-640-8600 (Monday-Friday, 9 AM-5 PM)
Do I have to buy all four shows?
Tickets for individual shows will go on sale later and be available via Ticketmaster and at the E.J. Thomas Ticket Office.
What theater are these shows playing in?
The Broadway in Akron Series is presented by Playhouse Square with performances at E.J. Thomas Hall on the campus of The University of Akron (198 Hill Street, Akron, OH 44325).
Can I bring children?
All patrons, including children of all ages who may even share a seat, must have a ticket to comply with fire regulations.
What accessibility accommodations are offered?
E.J. Thomas Hall has limited, designated seating areas on the Orchestra and Grand Tier levels for patrons in wheelchairs or patrons with special needs. Adjacent seating for a companion is also available in both areas.
Accessible Restrooms are located at the bottom of both ramps on both sides of the building.
A special sound system for the hearing impaired, Williams Personal PA Receiver, is free of charge at the information counter in McCormick Lobby.
What happens if a show is cancelled?
On rare occasions, severe weather forces E.J. Thomas Hall to postpone or cancel an event. Should a postponement or cancellation occur, details will be shared first on the uaevents.com homepage, regional radio and television, the E.J. Thomas Facebook and Twitter accounts, and via email. Additional information can be obtained by leaving your name and phone number with the Hall at 330-972-7595. A Thomas Hall staff member will contact you as soon as possible.
