Parking Garage

We operate two garages for your convenience. Both garages accept cashless payments only.

Purchase parking passes prior to the day of your performance:

Playhouse Square Parking Garage (1450 Chester Avenue). 
This garage offers a covered walkway into the theaters accessible from the 2nd floor of the garage. Elevators are available on each parking level. Passes are available for evening and weekend parking only.

The Lumen Parking Garage (1965 E. 17th Street)
This garage is conveniently located across the street from the theaters. The entrance is on E. 17^th Street between Prospect and Euclid.

Note: On the day of your performance, you will not be able to purchase Playhouse Square Parking Garage passes online or at the Box Office. Drive-up on-site parking may still be available at the published on-site rate. No overnight parking. 

Valet Parking

Valet parking is provided by VIP Valet at Playhouse Square. For your convenience, valet is available on both sides of Euclid Ave.

Normal operating hours are two (2) hours before the first performance and until after the last performance for all evening and weekend performances.

Dining in the district? Discounted valet parking is available with a $30 minimum purchase at Bin 216, Cibreo Italian Kitchen, District and Hofbrauhaus. To receive the discount, just provide your dining receipt to confirm the minimum purchase when you return to the  valet to pick up your car. Dining at Brel's at the Crowne Plaza? Discounted valet parking is available for you there.

Accessibility 

If you need wheelchair assistance or to be dropped off, please pull up in front of the theater you are attending and a RedCoat volunteer will be happy to assist.

Downtown Clean and Safe Ambassadors

Look for the Gold and Blue Uniforms…Our Downtown Clean and Safe Ambassadors

When you’re in the Playhouse Square District, a clean and secure environment makes your outing more enjoyable. That is why the Downtown Cleveland, Inc. launched the Clean and Safe Ambassadors Program. Ambassadors work seven days a week, cleaning and patrolling the sidewalks downtown and are recognized by their gold and blue uniforms.

Aside from greeting and cleaning, the Ambassadors patrol downtown on foot and bicycle. People working late at night and guests walking back to their cars after a performance at Playhouse Square appreciates the presence of the Ambassadors on the sidewalks, and especially their willingness to walk them to their cars.

If you’d like an Ambassador escort to walk you to your car, RTA HealthLine platform or a nearby hotel, please call the Ambassador Service at 216-621-6000.

Ambassadors are only available from 7 a.m. - 12 a.m.
