Thomas Hall at The University of Akron. From the chart-topping hits of Sara Bareilles and the reimagining of an animated classic to the slick sounds of the 60s and a new musical interpretation of the Willy Wonka story, this lineup has it all. Season Ticket packages range from just $40 to $295 with flexible payment plan options.

If you had season tickets for the Broadway in Akron Series in 2019-2020, you will receive information for how to keep your seats in the mail. If you wish to renew your season tickets over the phone, you can do so by calling 216-241-6000 (Monday-Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM). The deadline to keep your seats is Friday, August 20, 2021.

If you would like to buy new season tickets, you can do so beginning Wednesday, July 28 by calling 216-241-6000 (Monday-Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM).

Can I buy Group Tickets?

You sure can! If you are looking to bring friends, family, co-workers or employees to a show? Groups of 10 or more can start planning by calling 216-640-8600 (Monday-Friday, 9 AM-5 PM)

Do I have to buy all four shows?

Tickets for individual shows will go on sale at a later date and will be available for purchase via Ticketmaster and at the E.J. Thomas Ticket Office.

What theater are these shows playing in?

The Broadway in Akron Series is presented by Playhouse Square with performances at E.J. Thomas Hall on the campus of The University of Akron (198 Hill Street Akron, OH 44325).

Can I bring children?

All patrons, including children of all ages who may even share a seat, must have a ticket to comply with fire regulations.

What accessibility accommodations are offered?

E.J. Thomas Hall has limited, designated seating areas on the Orchestra and Grand Tier levels for patrons in wheelchairs or patrons with special needs. Adjacent seating for a companion is also available in both areas. 

Accessible Restrooms are located at the bottom of both ramps on both sides of the building.

A special sound system for the hearing impaired, Williams Personal PA Receiver is available at the information counter in McCormick Lobby, free of charge.

What happens if a show is cancelled?

On very rare occasions severe weather forces E.J. Thomas Hall to postpone or cancel an event. Should a postponement or cancellation occur, details will be shared first on the homepage, regional radio and television, the E.J. Thomas Facebook and Twitter accounts, and via email. Additional information can be obtained by leaving your name and phone number with the Hall at 330-972-7595. A Thomas Hall staff member will contact you as soon as possible.
