Fundraise for your school

Earn money for your school, club or organization while supporting the performing arts by setting up a ticket fundraiser with Playhouse Square. Our program makes it easy and puts a little “fun” in fundraising.

LES MISÉRABLES

October 7-29, 2022

Cameron Mackintosh presents the acclaimed production of Boublil and Schönberg’s Tony AwardⓇ-winning musical phenomenon, Les Misérables. Set against the backdrop of 19th century France, Les Misérables tells an enthralling story of broken dreams and unrequited love, passion, sacrifice and redemption – a timeless testament to the survival of the human spirit.

BLUE MAN GROUP

October 18-19, 2022

Blue Man Group comes to Akron for a limited engagement on their new North American tour. It’s everything you know and love about Blue Man Group—signature drumming, colorful moments of creativity and quirky comedy—the men are still blue but the rest is all new! Featuring pulsing, original music, custom-made instruments, surprise audience interaction and hilarious absurdity, join the Blue Men in a joyful experience that unites audiences of all ages. 

This event is part of the Broadway in Akron series with performances at E.J. Thomas Hall on the campus of The University of Akron.

HAMILTON

December 6, 2022-January 15, 2023

Hamilton is the story of America then, told by America now. Featuring a score that blends hip-hop, jazz, R&B and Broadway, Hamilton has taken the story of American founding father Alexander Hamilton and created a revolutionary moment in theatre—a musical that has had a profound impact on culture, politics, and education

HADESTOWN

January 31-February 19, 2022

Welcome to Hadestown, where a song can change your fate. Winner of eight 2019 Tony Awards®, including Best Musical and the 2020 Grammy® Award for Best Musical Theater Album, Hadestown is a haunting and hopeful theatrical experience that grabs you and never lets go.
