Bus Subsidy Program

thumb_pip.jpgPlayhouse Square is committed to offering the most engaging arts experiences to educators and students, while providing the tools to connect these experiences to education standards in the classroom. We are aware of the increased challenges schools are facing in providing field trip experiences for their students - particularly the financial challenges. Through the generosity of donors and funders, we are pleased to offer bus subsidies to school groups who may be deterred from attending school matinee performances at Playhouse Square due to the cost of transportation.

The following public school districts are automatically eligible for bus subsidies for the 2016-17 school year:

Berea City School District
Brooklyn City School District
Cleveland Heights-University Heights City School District
Cleveland Metropolitan School District
Constellation Schools
Elyria School District
Euclid School District
Fairview Park City Schools
Jefferson Area Local School District
Lakewood City Schools
Mentor Exempted Village School District
Olmsted Falls City Schools
Orange City School District
Riverside Local School District
Wickliffe City School District
Willoughby-Eastlake City School District

If you are not part of a school district listed above and are interested in receiving financial assistance for transportation to a Children's Theater Series or International Children's Theater Festival school performance, please contact:
