Event Description

Mermaid Theatre of Nova Scotia presents three traditional children’s stories through the magic of Story Box Theater, the company’s newest digital initiative. Billy Goats Gruff follows three hungry goats who must cross a bridge to feast on the luscious, green grass that grows on the other side.  To get there, they must cleverly outwit an evil, greedy troll who lurks underneath the bridge, looking to eat anyone who passes, and his favorite meal is goat!  In another tale, the conniving Rumpelmakes deals with a miller’s daughter to weave straw into gold and in The Sky is Falling, a well-meaning young chick who, after getting bopped on the head by a falling acorn, runs to warn everyone that the sky is falling.
