The stunning evening of four contemporary ballet works features versatile dancers performing contemporary favorites like Jiří Kylián’s stunning Petite Mort, set to two of Mozart’s most famous piano concertos and known for its striking imagery, elegant tension, and haunting intimacy. Also on the program are Crystal Pite’s Solo Echo, a deeply moving meditation on love, loss, and acceptance, and As I Am, by resident choreographer Mthuthuzeli November, a work that pulses with individuality and emotional honesty.
