Guest Experience Assistant

Salary Range: $19.00/hour

Schedule: 25-30 hours per week. Wednesday through Sunday. Weekends required.

Job Summary:

The Guest Experience Assistant is responsible for supporting the Guest Experience Department (Volunteers, Front of House, Guest Services) to assist with ensuring an exceptional guest experience at Playhouse Square.  This role manages volunteer communications, provides administrative support, and works collaboratively with staff and volunteers to deliver outstanding service and operational excellence.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Guest Experience Communication, Support & Training

  • Coordinate with House Managers and ushers to help maintain efficient operations during performances and events.
  • Manage volunteer communications, scheduling, and training to ensure proper staffing and service quality.
  • Create and manage all Eloqua e-blasts and communications for the Volunteer department.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Administrative Assistance
  • Prepare and distribute materials, maintain records, and support multiple departments (Volunteer, Front of House, Guest Services).
  • Respond to guest inquiries, address issues promptly, and maintain a positive, professional environment.

 

Event Support
  • Provide hands-on event assistance during high-traffic times such as festivals, concerts, and special events.

Qualifications

  • Minimum two years of customer service experience.
  • Experience with database management and report creation.
  • Experience in volunteer management or event support is preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
