  2. Provide support as needed with accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  3. Complete annual preparation of common area maintenance reconciliations.
  4. Manage general ledgers for multiple properties.
  5. Provide financial and operational data as requested by owners.
  6. Reconcile and analyze all accounts, manage month-end and year-end closings for multiple ledgers.
  7. Timely preparation of monthly financial packages for a portfolio of properties.
  8. Assist Property Managers in the preparation of annual operating and capital budgets.
  9. Review monthly budget to actual variance reports and prepare variance explanations.
  10. Assist with all accrual and cash basis accounting functions for the portfolio of properties.
  11. Prepare journal entries, accruals, reconciliations and other documentations to ensure that transactions are recorded in accordance with GAAP.
  12. Oversee the setup of new leases and amendments; property setup in designated software, including new properties, new tenants and new leases.
  13. Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.


  1. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or equivalent training, experience, or certification.
  2. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in accounting; commercial real estate accounting experience a plus.
  3. Self motivated and strong organizational skills.
  4. Strong experience and skillset in creating, modifying and maintaining Excel spreadsheets.
  5. Knowledge of current PC hardware and software; property management software experience (i.e. Timberline, MRI and/or Skyline) a plus.
  6. Excellent communication skills.
