How lucky are we to be in a time where we can connect to the arts with a click of a button? While we all eagerly await the opportunity to experience the arts in person again, our arts community has been working dilligently to innovate on ways we can connect with the arts from the comfort of our own home. We invite you to explore those virtual offerings below.

1. Take a Tour of Playhouse Square

   • If you miss being in our theaters, you can feel like you’re there from the comfort of your home with the Huntington 360 View Tour. 
2. Watch a Film
   • The Cleveland International Film Festival has compiled a list of past festival films on their new CIFF Alum Streams page. Information on how to stream films slated for CIFF44 will be available on their website soon.
3. Try a Ballet Class
   • The School of Cleveland Ballet is posting a new ballet class video each Friday for anyone to follow along. So whether you are a seasoned dancer or new to dance, we encourage you to try it out!
4. Explore the History of Rock & Roll
   • Take a virtual tour of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame exploring collections of rock history memorabilia, videos and music that will make any rock fan want to start playing air guitar in their living room.
5. Enjoy a Professional Dance Performance
   • DanceCleveland is highlighting a different professional dance company each week by sharing a video of one of their works. If interested in receiving these weekly highlights, please email sarah@dancecleveland.org.
   • Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater is also featuring videos of their works, plus choreography workshops.
6. Listen to a Piano Concert
   • Join Piano Cleveland every Thursday for their Quarantine Concert Series featuring local artists.
7. Jam Out to the Tri-C JazzFest 2020 Playlist
   • If you need some music to relax or dance to, a playlist from this year's Tri-C JazzFest indoor festival line up is available on Spotify!
8. Watch a Broadway Show
   • A number of Broadway shows are streaming performances, so if you need some musical theater in your life check out playbill.com’s list of shows to stream!
9. Take a Class With Cleveland Play House
   • Each week, Cleveland Play House is offering remote enrichment opportunities for the theater student in your home.
10. Start Your Day With a Mindful Music Moment
    • The Cleveland Orchestra is offering a daily opportunity for you to close your eyes and take a few deep, mindful breaths while listening to a classical music excerpt.
11. Discover Works of Art
    • The Cleveland Museum of Art has a variety of digital resources for you to view their art collections and audio/visual recordings while relaxing on your couch.
12. Dance Along to Some Jazz
    • The Cleveland Jazz Orchestra is featuring a daily dose of jazz for you to dance along to with their recommended song of the day.
13. Attend a Virtual Concert
    • Many artists are offering concerts from their homes including Straight No Chaser, Jim Brickman, Melissa Etheridge, Dave Koz and Andrew Lloyd Weber. So grab some popcorn and tune in!
14. Discover Other Art Offerings with ideastream
    • Each day, ideastream continues to share happenings in the arts community, so check it out and learn about other virtual art offerings in Northeast Ohio.
