Playhouse Square Welcomes Four New Members to Its Board of Trustees

Playhouse Square announces four community and business leaders to its Board of Trustees. Matt Litzler, Jared Miller, Neal Restivo and Thomas M. Welsh will join the current 53 members to guide the not-for-profit’s mission to be a leader in placemaking, the advancement of arts education, and the presentation and production of performing arts experiences.

Their expertise and passion will help guide the organization as we continue to advance our mission and shape the future of our arts district.”

Matt Litzler is President and CEO of Cleveland, Ohio based Litzler Holdings which includes C. A. Litzler Co., Inc., Quickdraft Corp., PSC Inc., Litzler Automation, Litzler-Shanghai, and Litzler-Foudy. Litzler is also involved in multiple non-profits in the Cleveland area including former Chair of the Centers, Co-Founder of the Cleveland Velodrome, member of the Cleveland Clinic Foundation Velosano Steering Committee and member of the Cleveland Clinic Foundation Neurological Advisory Committee. He is also an active member of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO) and YPO Gold.

Jared Miller is a Partner at Weinberg Wealth Management. Miller is actively engaged in civic and community leadership as he currently serves as President of the Jewish Education Center of Cleveland. He is also a member of the Executive Committee of the Jewish Federation of Cleveland, Vice Chair of its Annual Campaign and Chair of the Federation’s partnership with Kibbutz Kissufim. He is a Trustee of the Treu-Mart Fund and a member of the Cleveland Campaign Council for the University of Michigan. Miller previously served as President of the Board of the Joseph and Florence Mandel Jewish Day School and was honored with the Yanowitz Leadership Award by the Jewish Federation of Cleveland in 2017.

Neal Restivo is the Chief Executive Officer of Oatey Co., a 109-year-old manufacturer and distributor of plumbing products. In addition to his role at Oatey, Restivo remains actively engaged in corporate and community leadership. He currently serves as Chairperson of the Board of Directors for Sea-Land Chemical Company and is a member of the Boards of the Greater Cleveland Partnership and the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. He is also a member of the Leadership Cleveland Class of 2017.

Thomas M. Welsh is the Managing Partner of Calfee, Halter & Griswold LLP, a role in which he has served since 2023. As Managing Partner, Tom focuses on driving Calfee’s strategic growth, strengthening client relationships, and shaping the firm’s long-term vision. Beyond Calfee, Tom is deeply engaged in the Northeast Ohio business, educational, and nonprofit communities. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Greater Cleveland Partnership and on the Visting Committee of Case Western Reserve School of Law, and he is a former member of the Board of Directors and past President of the Cleveland Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth.
