The region’s dance community is preparing to come together and dance the night away at Playhouse Square as a part of the organization’s annual, free Dance Showcase presented by Terry and Sheldon Adelman. The nine Northeast Ohio dance companies, which represent a wide range of styles, were selected to perform at the Connor Palace on Friday, September 4 at 7 p.m.
“Our annual Dance Showcase event is one of the highlights of the year as we celebrate the art form with a group of diverse companies from around the region,” said Daniel Hahn, Playhouse Square’s Vice President of Education. “Thanks to Terry and Sheldon Adelman, audiences can have an evening to experience different dance styles for free during this special event. From ballet to contemporary and traditional Tahitian dance, we are thrilled to put the spotlight on our local dance community as they present their good work and passion for the art.”
