The 78th Annual Tony Awards are set to light up the stage at New York City's Radio City Music Hall on Sunday, June 8, 2025 celebrating the very best of Broadway—and here at Playhouse Square we're gearing up to welcome a Tony-rific lineup of shows on our 2025-2026 KeyBank Broadway Series.

THE NOTEBOOK
Based on the beloved novel by Nicholas Sparks, The Notebook features a beautiful emotionally charged score by singer-songwriter Ingrid Michaelson. In 2024 it was nominated for Tony Awards for Best Book of a Musical for Bekah Brunstetter and Best Actress in a Musical for Maryann Plunkett and Best Actor for Dorian Harewood. HELL'S KITCHEN
One of the most buzzed-about new musicals of 2024, Hell’s Kitchen earned Alicia Keys her first Tony Award nomination for Best Musical, while newcomer Maleah Joi Moon won Best Performance by a Leading Actress in a Musical for her powerhouse debut as well as win for Broadway veteran Kecia Lewis for Best Performance by a Featured Actress in a Musical. With a staggering 13 Tony noms in total and an electrifying performance from the original Broadway cast that featured Alicia Keys herself, Hell's Kitchen set the Tony stage on fire in 2024!
STEREOPHONIC
Stereophonic dominated the 2024 Tony Awards, with 13 nominations making it the most nominated Play in Broadway history. Of those 13 the show won 5 including the 2024 Tony Award for Best Play! Let's relive the magic moment Stereophonc took home the top prize at last year's ceremony.
SUFFS
Shaina Taub’s new musical about the American suffrage movement was a breakout hit in 2024, winning Best Book and Best Original Score at the 77th Tony's. On the night the Original Broadway Cast gave a moving performance of “The March,” earning the show a standing ovation from Broadway's best and cementing its place as a modern classic in the making.
WATER FOR ELEPHANTS
This visually breathtaking adaptation of the bestselling novel wowed the 2024 Tony Awards with its circus-inspired staging and aerial choreography, and earned 7 nominations including Best Scenic Design and Best Choreography. THE OUTSIDERS
The fresh and gritty reimagining of the S.E. Hinton classic, The Outsiders took home 4 Tony Awards including Best Musical at the 2024 ceremony. Its high-energy performance of “Stay Gold” was a standout moment of the night, introducing a new generation to this timeless tale of rebellion and brotherhood.
THE GREAT GATSBY
