Yums & Giggles: Family-friendly dining in the #PSQDistrict

Whether you are checking out the Children’s Theater Series at Playhouse Square or one of the other family performances on our stages, the Playhouse Square District offers a variety of pre- or post-show dining spots that are sure to be a hit with kids of all ages. We’ve put together a few of our picks for family-friendly gems within a short distance of our theaters.

Hofbräuhaus

With a festive Bavarian atmosphere, family style seating and a dedicated kid's menu, Hofbräuhaus is the perfect place for the whole family to enjoy. The menu offers favorites like chicken fingers, pizza, hot dogs, burgers, mac & cheese, and schnitzel. The fun doesn’t stop there; on select Sundays, family-friendly brunches fill the dining room with roars of laughter and conversation. Once the sun starts shining and warmer days begin, the outdoor Biergarten features a playground for the little ones to run wild with imagination. Whether it’s rain or shine, Hofbräuhaus is ready to welcome you and the whole family.
