Arts & Humanities Alive! Festival - June 7-9, 2017


The Cleveland State University/Playhouse Square neighborhood will be alive with words, music, theater, dance and art on June 7-9, 2017 as CSU inaugurates Arts and Humanities Alive!, the AHA! Festival, the first of its kind in Ohio. AHA! brings world-renowned authors, performers and celebrities for a celebration of Storytelling and a wide-ranging exploration of what our stories tell us about ourselves. Click here for more information.


Tri-C Jazz Festival - June 22-24, 2017

The 38th Annual Tri-C JazzFest!

This year's lineup includes Chris Botti, Boney James, Boz Scaggs, Dianne Reeves and many more in the historic theaters of Playhouse Square.

Outside, some of the hottest bands in the region will perform free on the Strassman Insurance Stage from 3 p.m. to midnight Friday and Saturday of the festival. Other festival activities include food trucks on E. 14th, street boutiques, cooking demos, a Jazz Talk tent, US Bank KidBop and dancing until midnight under the GE Chandelier! Click here for more information. 


American Dance Festival - July 29-August 5, 2017


DANCECleveland is launching its first-ever summer dance festival in cooperation with the
iconic American Dance Festival from Durham, NC. 

ADF in CLE will kick off on the National Day of Dance, July 29th, with a full menu of activities,
food and beverage crawls and community dance activities. The festival will continue with a week of performances and a 4-day workshop series featuring noted ADF faculty.
