Parking at Playhouse Square
Playhouse Square has kept event night parking affordable for our customers. In fact, parking purchased for the on-site Playhouse Square garage at just $20.00, is priced lower than other parking facilities at every downtown entertainment and sports venue, where prices are sometimes more than double on event night for lots that can be several blocks away.
The garage offers a covered walkway into the theaters. The walkway is accessible from the 2nd floor of the garage and elevators are available on each parking level.
Purchase parking in the Playhouse Square Parking Garage (located at 1450 Chester Avenue) in advance and save! Parking is just $15.00 online ($20.00 on-site).
Parking passes may also be purchased at the Playhouse Square Ticket Office (located in the KeyBank State Theatre Lobby) during normal business hours.
Valet parking is a service provided by VIP Valet at Playhouse Square. For your convenience, Valet is available on both sides of Euclid Ave. in front of the theaters. It is also available in front of the Hanna Theatre on E. 14th St. Normal hours of operation are 2 hours before the first performance until after the last performance for all evening and weekend performances.
If you need wheelchair assistance, please pull up in front of the theater you are attending and a RedCoat volunteer will be happy to assist. Please note: We cannot assist guests in and out of vehicles.
Downtown Clean and Safe Ambassadors
Look for the Gold and Blue Uniforms…Our Downtown Clean and Safe Ambassadors
When you’re in the Playhouse Square District, a clean and secure environment makes your routing more enjoyable. That is why the Downtown Cleveland Alliance (DCA) launched the Clean and Safe Ambassadors Program more than four years ago, and 2016 marks the 10 year anniversary of this program. Fifty-five Ambassadors work seven days a week, cleaning and patrolling the sidewalks downtown and are recognized by their gold and blue uniforms.
Aside from greeting and cleaning, the DCA Safety Ambassadors patrol downtown on foot and bicycle. People working late at night and guests walking back to their cars after a performance at Playhouse Square appreciate the presence of the Ambassadors on the sidewalks, and especially their willingness to walk them to their cars.
If you’d like a DCA Safety Ambassador escort to walk you to your car, RTA HealthLine platform or near-by hotel, please call the DCA Safety Escort Service at 216-621-6000.
Ambassadors are only available from 7 a.m. - 12 a.m.
The Downtown Cleveland Alliance (DCA) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to building a dynamic downtown.
