In June 2021, Playhouse Square welcomed audiences to the first live performance on its stages in 15 months. After COVID-19 forced the cancellation of 1100 performances, the performing arts center triumphantly reopened with THE CHOIR OF MAN, the first international tour to perform in the United States since the start of the pandemic.
