Event Description
Join us for inspiring social-oriented dance classes that include vivid imagery, flowing movement, and rhythmic steps combined with live music!
Dance for Parkinson’s Classes enhance the health and well-being of people with Parkinson’s through weekly dance classes that explore movement possibilities, celebrate community, and cultivate joy in a fun and participant-centered environment.
These 60-minute classes improve motor skills and control, support cognitive health, and enhance mood. All levels of ability and mobility are welcome. No dance experience is required.
Classes are free of charge to people with Parkinson’s and their care partners. Registration is limited and advanced registration is encouraged. Please choose “1” ticket for the individual living with Parkinson’s, “2” if a care partner is also participating.
Participants can register for as few or as many classes as they like.
Complementary valet parking will be provided to those who register in advance
Dance for Parkinson’s Classes are part of the Arts & MINDS initiative at Playhouse Square in collaboration with Cleveland Clinic and generously supported by a community grant from the Parkinson’s Foundation.
