Your donation makes it possible for us to present programs, workshops and field trips of the highest quality at a low cost or for free to participants. Give a one-time gift or make an ongoing impact with a monthly donation.

Presenting live children’s theater of the highest quality is an important part of Playhouse Square’s not-for-profit mission. The performing arts enable children to build upon their creativity, imagination, and innovation, helping to create rich connections with others and a lifelong appreciation of cultural experiences.

  • In-person and virtual youth theater performances, workshops, classes and events reach nearly 120,000 participants across 26 counties annually.
  • More than 20 videos were filmed and produced by the Education Department in 2022, improving accessibility to the arts in schools.
  • During Family Theater Day this year, more than 3,000 guests enjoyed performances from around the world as well as free workshops and activities.
  • Educational sessions are provided free to the community with each KeyBank Broadway Series show at Playhouse Square.
